What is CURRUS™?
Welcome to CLINIX.NYC® CURRUS™
Medicaid transportation services are crucial for ensuring that beneficiaries can access the healthcare services they need to maintain a healthy quality of life. These services provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for Medicaid beneficiaries, facilitating their travel to and from medical appointments and improving health outcomes by removing transportation barriers.
The CLINIX.NYC® CURRUS™️ Medicaid NEMT Ride-Share program is dedicated to providing these essential services to Medicaid patients, particularly in underserved communities. This initiative not only aims to eliminate transportation barriers but also seeks to employ residents from these communities, thereby empowering community health outcomes and its economics. This social health prescription aligns with the goals of the Affordable Care Act of 2010.
Currently, CLINIX.NYC® CURRUS™️ is recruiting community residents to join the Medicaid NEMT Ride-Share program as drivers. With CURRUS™ you're an employee with a guaranteed minimum salary paid bi-weekly. You are not an independent contractor. As a driver with CLINIX.NYC® CURRUS™️, you will be employed to use your own vehicle for NEMT services. The program offers a minimum base salary of $57,462.34 up to $65,728.83 per annum, benefits after six (6) months of continuous satisfactory employment, and profit-sharing at the end of the year for non-provisional drivers, paid as a year-end bonus. Additionally, various driver incentive packages are available.
To drive for CURRUS™ you must be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Certified, pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening, submit to random alcohol and drug screenings throughout the year, obtain an OIG background check, obtain a state drivers license record review and certification to drive for CURRUS™, have valid and necessary auto insurance, and the vehicle you use to drive must have an up-to-date maintenance and safety inspection and record to be certified worthy to be utilized for tours of service within the CURRUS™ driving system.
These driver vetting services are all provided within the CLINIX.NYC® CURRUS™ system and fleet management platform upon successful registration, which you can do below. An initial registration fee of $100 is required at registration which cover these services, and all registration fees are reimbursed to drivers within their first salaried pay period as a provisional driver for CURRUS™.

- Competitive Compensation: With profit-sharing, CLINIX.NYC CURRUS™️ drivers are compensated better than the industry standard for NEMT Ride-Share program drivers.
- Policy Compliance: Drivers must comply with all program policies, rules, and requirements, maintaining a satisfactory record for at least six months as a provisional driver to become a permanent employee, receive benefits, and qualify for year-end profit sharing.
- ADA Certification: Drivers must be ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) certified, which includes pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and random testing throughout the year.
- Training and Testing Arrangements: The program arranges online ADA training and schedules all pre-employment drug testing on the CLINIX.NYC platform.
- Valid Documentation Required: Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with no suspensions or revocations, current car insurance, and up-to-date vehicle registration and inspection certificates.
